These are the chapters of their journey, as the story finds them — set down as the events unfold, neither sweetened nor sharpened beyond what was actually said and done.

Chapter 1: The Obelisk by the Lake
Six strangers from vastly different backgrounds are drawn together by shared prophetic dreams, each making their own preparations before converging at an ancient obelisk. Their tentative meeting is shattered by a violent raider attack that forces them to fight as one.
Chapter 2: The Battle's End and the Man in White
The fight at the obelisk ends, the raiders' marks are read, and a figure in white arrives to set the six on a path.
Chapter 3: To Crownhold
The morning after the road fight, the six walk to Crownhold and split the city between them, looking for a temple no one has heard of.
