Krojek of the Ashlands
A massive humanoid of ogre-like proportions, Krojek stands as an imposing figure even among his warthog-folk kin. His thick hide bears the scars of countless battles, while prominent tusks jut from his lower jaw and small, intelligent eyes gleam with cunning malice. Krojek leads a band of raiders with brutal efficiency, his deep voice carrying the authority of one accustomed to command through violence.
Hailing from the harsh Ashlands to the south, Krojek has brought his raiders north to the shores of Lake Hallowglass, though his true motivations for being at the Obelisk at Aelamir remain unclear to those who encounter him. He fights with the savage pragmatism of one who has survived in the unforgiving southern wastes.

Krojek led the raiders who fell upon the heroes at the obelisk above Lake Hallowglass — the first foe they faced as one company. He came last out of the treeline and largest by far, twice the height of a man, and named the ground his own before he swung for them. The fight ran long into the dark: his roar struck fear into them, and a single blow of his great mace nearly broke the goblin Magmaw. But six against two could end only one way. His band was cut down around him, and Krojek fell last — run through and hurled across the field by Barney's hand. He was the heroes' first victory, and they never learned his name.
