Bongoshusto ("Bongo")

Bongoshusto — Bongo to everyone — is a friend of Squam's from Port Maren, the busier of Caelond's two great ports, where the coast's comings and goings all seem to pass through sooner or later. Where Squam is guarded, Bongo is open-handed: glad to see you and not shy about it, the sort who hears every rumour worth hearing along the docks. To a friend a long way from home, that gladness is no small thing.
