Karzhal Ashborn

Karzhal Ashborn is a name the heroes were given at the Foaming Head, not yet a face they have met. By Dag Stiffpint's account he is an orc who takes his Ashlands lineage seriously, a man who deals with Wode folk and keeps company at the edges of harder things without being a raider himself. Dag named him as someone worth knowing if the raiders out of the Ashlands are the heroes' concern, and offered to send word on their behalf.

The heroes have not met Karzhal Ashborn. His name reached them at the Foaming Head, on the Crownhold docks, when Dag Stiffpint offered it to Darian and Alara: an orc who might know something of the Ashlands and the raiders moving out of them, a man worth a word if the road south becomes their road. Whether they pull the thread remains to be seen.
